Self-taught photgrapher, Christophe Stramba-Badiali is 38 and currently lives in Savoie, in the French Alps.
Christophe Stramba-Badiali was 20 when he started travelling the world seeking sense. As a long distance traveller, he explored most of Asia (Laos, Cambodia, Tibet, China, India …) and spent almost a year travelling the Himalaya. His real passion for photgraphy was born in 2003 after he discovered the majestic valley of the river Zanskar in India and its inhabitants, its authenticity. Still today, Christophe Stramba-Badiali remains deeply touched by their energy, their humility and hospitality. Photography thus became the way to seize true, generous emotions, and show them.
He then moved to photographing portraits, wanting to be the witness of universal sensations. In his photos, the faces and the expressions say it all.

From 2009 to 2011, Christophe Stramba-Badiali joined the ranks of Doctors Without Borders and successively left for Niger, Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti and Chad.

Working as a freelance photographer since 2011, Christophe Stramba-Badiali has been keeping up with his humanitarian commitment and regurlarly travels abroad to cover current news events.
